CBRN CoE Project 54 - National Focal Point Interview
CBRN CoE Project 54 is aimed at enhancing medical preparedness and response to CBRN incidents. During December 2019, Jordanian CBRN trainers, who had been trained by Project 54 specialists, delivered a training course to Ministry of Health staff and Civil Defence operatives. The training took place at the CBRN dedicated facilities provided at El Zarqa New Governmental Hospital. The training was facilitated by Col. Saleh Alsheyab, the Jordanian National Focal Point (NFP) and Chief of Risk Assessment and Plans Section at the National Center for Security & Crisis Management (NCSCM) in Amman. In this interview Col. Saleh expresses his appreciation for the support EU funded Project 54 has provided and highlights some of the challenges he faces.
